Hong Kong born menswear designer Six Lee is known for creating clothes with a conceptual, avant- garde edge. The designer previously studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp Belgium and worked at Alexander McQueen’s menswear label before setting up his eponymous brand in 2012. His work is predominantly focused on incorporating clean cuts with sharp lines, soft colors and dreamy, boyish details. All of this results in collections that possess new proportions and unique silhouettes with a modern twist.

 

“I want to challenge the boundaries of menswear, and see how far I can push them without losing touch with reality and its wearability,” he says, “If people like it, that’s good; it’s fate. But if not, it’s just fate too.”

SixLee has collaborated with a number of artists from various disciplines. Six believe this way to build up a unique brand image and working with other talented people to understand their perspective through his world.
