“We‘re all Connectedly Disconnected” “And now we are all isolated while constantly connected yet were actually connectedly disconnected from each other and from ourselves.” SixLee Spring Summer 2016 brought the attention to the work of an Italian Tape Artist No Curves. With the inspiration from a collection of different colors tapes and techniques, line and stripe represent the symbolic of the “connection”. Gentle Monster’s collaboration piece with Six lee was inspired by Six Lee's 2016 SS collection concept. Circular embossed pattern was applied to the upper part of the frame to express connectivity in depth. End piece and bridge of the frame were connected seamlessly to represent sophisticated and restrained design of Gentle Monster and Six Lee’s latest collection.
